    From Mount Vernon, head south on Charles Street until you reach the intersection with East Baltimore Street. Turn left onto East Baltimore Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with South Hanover Street. Turn right and walk south. Follow South Hanover Street until it merges into Key Highway. The Baltimore Museum of Industry will be on your left at 1415 Key Hwy. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30 minutes.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    From Mount Vernon, walk to the Baltimore Light RailLink station at Baltimore Arena (approximately a 15-minute walk). Once there, take the Light RailLink towards Hunt Valley. Get off at the South Baltimore station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk. Exit the station and head south on South Baltimore Avenue, then make a left onto Key Highway. The museum will be located on your right at 1415 Key Hwy. Note that a one-way fare on the Light RailLink is approximately $1.80.

  • Public Transit - Bus

    Walk to the nearest bus stop at Charles Street & North Avenue (about a 10-minute walk). Catch the MTA #51 or #64 bus heading towards the South Baltimore area. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Key Highway & Lawrence Street. From there, walk east on Key Highway for about 5 minutes, and the Baltimore Museum of Industry will be on your right at 1415 Key Hwy. The bus fare is $1.80 for a single ride.
