  • Metro

    From Bethesda Metro Station, take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Ride for 6 stops and get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Ride for 2 stops and get off at L'Enfant Plaza. Finally, transfer to the Blue or Orange Line towards New Carrollton or Vienna, respectively, and ride for 2 stops to get off at Eastern Market Station. From the station, walk east for 2 blocks along C Street SE, then turn left onto 7th St SE. Continue walking for one block, and you will see Eastern Market on your right at 225 7th St SE.

  • Bus

    From the Bethesda Transit Center, board the Metrobus route 34 or 36 towards the Southern Ave Metro Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Pennsylvania Ave & 7th St SE' stop. From there, walk 2 blocks east towards 7th St SE. Eastern Market will be on your right at 225 7th St SE.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a Capital Bikeshare bicycle from one of the stations near Bethesda. Head south on Wisconsin Ave and follow the Capital Crescent Trail towards Washington, DC. At the end of the trail, continue onto the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway. Follow the signs toward the National Mall and make your way to 7th St SE. Eastern Market is located at 225 7th St SE, right at the intersection of 7th St and C St SE.
