From the Billy Goat Trail parking area, head south on the main road, Berma Road. Continue straight for about 1.2 miles until you reach Turtle Rock. Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Metro to the Glenmont station (Red Line). From there, you can catch the Ride On Bus #47 towards Potomac Village. Get off at the Potomac Village stop, then walk approximately 1.5 miles south on River Road until you reach Berma Road. Turn left onto Berma Road and continue for about half a mile until you reach Turtle Rock where One Tree Stands can be found.
Walking
If you are already at the Billy Goat Trail and prefer to walk, exit the trail at the nearest access point and head towards Berma Road. From there, walk south for about 1.2 miles to reach Turtle Rock where One Tree Stands is located. Make sure to stay on the designated pathways for safety.
