From any location within Catoctin Mountain Area, head towards Route 77 East. Continue on Route 77 for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with Route 15 North. Merge onto Route 15 North and drive for about 30 miles. Take the exit for Gettysburg and continue onto Sickles Ave. Devil’s Den will be on your right. Parking is available at the site, which may incur a small fee depending on the time of year.

If you are already in the Catoctin Mountain Area and prefer a hiking route, you can take the Catoctin Trail to connect to the Appalachian Trail. Follow the Appalachian Trail north until you reach the vicinity of Gettysburg. Note that this is a lengthy hike of approximately 20 miles and may take several hours, so plan accordingly with water and supplies.
