If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Thurmont, MD. From the center of Thurmont, take MD-77 W (East Main Street) for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Catoctin Mountain Park Road, which is marked. Continue on this road for approximately 4 miles. You will reach the parking area for the Catoctin Mountain Park. From the parking area, Little Owens Lookout is a short hike away. Follow the trail signs towards the lookout, and enjoy the scenic views.
