Car
From Catoctin Mountain Park, head southeast on MD-77 E (Catoctin Mountain Park Road) for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto MD-66 S (Catoctin Furnace Road) and continue straight for about 1.5 miles. Merge onto I-70 E via the ramp on the left toward Baltimore. After about 10 miles, take exit 32 for MD-66 S toward Boonsboro. Continue on MD-66 S for about 3 miles until you reach Boonsboro. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto N Main St. The National Road Museum will be located on your left at 214 N Main St #1010. Parking is available on the street or in nearby lots.
