If you are starting from the Columbia Mall, head south on Little Patuxent Parkway towards the intersection with Broken Land Parkway. Continue straight and cross Broken Land Parkway. You will see a pedestrian path on your left leading towards a residential area. Follow this path until you reach Old Columbia Road. Turn left onto Old Columbia Road and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see the Oakland Mills Blacksmith House and Shop on your right at 5471 Old Columbia Rd.

From the Columbia Mall, take the Howard Transit Route 403 bus heading towards the Oakland Mills Village Center. Disembark at the stop closest to Old Columbia Road. Walk north on Old Columbia Road. The Oakland Mills Blacksmith House and Shop will be located at 5471 Old Columbia Rd, just a short walk from the bus stop.
