Car
From the Eastern Shore, head to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge (US-50 W). After crossing the bridge, merge onto I-97 N toward Baltimore. Continue on I-97 N for approximately 15 miles, then merge onto I-695 N toward Towson. After about 10 miles, merge onto I-70 W toward Hagerstown. Continue on I-70 W for approximately 40 miles, then take exit 56 for MD-355 N toward Frederick. After about 5 miles, turn left onto Urbana Pike (MD-355). Continue on Urbana Pike for about 1.5 miles until you reach Monocacy National Battlefield, located at 5201 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD 21704. The park is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.

To use public transportation, first take a bus from various locations on the Eastern Shore to the nearest major city with a train or bus station, such as Salisbury. From Salisbury, take a Greyhound or Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC) train to Frederick, MD. The MARC train service is limited on weekends, so check the schedule in advance. Once in Frederick, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Monocacy National Battlefield, which is approximately 4 miles from the Frederick train station.
