From the Gaithersburg City Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located on South Frederick Avenue. Take the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards the Shady Grove Metro Station. Ride for approximately 15-20 minutes and get off at the stop for 'Clopper Rd & Seneca Creek State Park.' From the bus stop, walk west on Clopper Road for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the entrance of Seneca Creek State Park at 11950 Clopper Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.
Biking
If you're in Gaithersburg, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service or bring your own. Start at the Gaithersburg City Hall and head southwest on South Frederick Avenue. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Clopper Road. Turn left onto Clopper Road and continue for about 2 miles. You will see the entrance to Seneca Creek State Park on your right at 11950 Clopper Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.
