If you are using public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Cumberland, MD. From there, take a local bus to Flintstone, MD. Once you arrive in Flintstone, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Green Ridge State Forest (about 10 miles away). After reaching the entrance of the forest, you will have to walk approximately 1 mile along Green Ridge Road to reach Campsite #8. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and terrain.
