From any point within Gunpowder Falls State Park, head towards the nearest main road. If you're at the park's main entrance, take the Gunpowder Falls Park Road south until you reach I-95. Merge onto I-95 South and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 67 for MD-702 toward Essex. After exiting, turn right onto MD-702 East. Continue straight for approximately 2 miles. Finally, turn left onto Rocky Point Road. Rocky Point Park and Beach will be on your right at 2200 Rocky Point Rd, Essex, MD 21221.
