Public Bus
From Laurel, head to the nearest bus stop on Route 1 (Baltimore Ave). Take the Metrobus B30 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at the Greenbelt Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Green Line Metro train towards Branch Ave. Ride the train for about 20 minutes and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Finally, transfer to the Red Line Metro train towards Glenmont, and get off at the National Gallery of Art stop. Walk 0.5 miles east on Constitution Ave NW, then turn left on 7th St NW and walk to 701 D St NW, Washington, DC 20024.
Light Rail
Start at the Laurel Rail Station and take the MARC Train (Camden Line) towards Washington, DC. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Baltimore-Washington Airport station. From there, take the free shuttle bus to the Greenbelt Metro Station. Once at the Greenbelt Metro Station, board the Green Line Metro train towards Branch Ave. After about 20 minutes, transfer at Gallery Place-Chinatown to the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the National Gallery of Art stop and then walk 0.5 miles east on Constitution Ave NW, turn left on 7th St NW, and continue to 701 D St NW, Washington, DC 20024.
Walking and Metro
If you’re close to the Laurel Town Center, you can begin by walking to the Laurel Transit Center. From there, take the Metrobus 89 towards Greenbelt Metro Station. This will take around 30 minutes. At Greenbelt Metro Station, switch to the Green Line towards Branch Ave for about 20 minutes, and get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown. Change to the Red Line towards Glenmont and ride for just one stop. Get off at the National Gallery of Art stop, then walk 0.5 miles east on Constitution Ave NW, turn left on 7th St NW, and arrive at 701 D St NW, Washington, DC 20024.
