Getting There

Walking
If you're staying near the boardwalk, start at the Ocean City Boardwalk, which stretches from 1st Street to 27th Street. Head north towards 27th Street and then take a left onto Coastal Highway (Route 528). Continue walking north on Coastal Highway. The Ocean City Visitor Center is located at 4001 Coastal Hwy, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the Boardwalk area. Look for the large blue and white sign indicating the Visitor Center on your right side.

Biking
Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near the boardwalk. Start at the boardwalk and ride north along the designated bike lanes on Coastal Highway. Continue on Coastal Highway until you reach 4001 Coastal Hwy, which is well-marked with signage for the Visitor Center. This route is about 1.5 miles and should take around 10 minutes depending on your biking speed.

Public Transit
Use the local bus service, known as the OC Bus, which operates throughout Ocean City. Look for the bus stop nearest to your location and catch the bus heading north on Coastal Highway. You will want to get off at the stop closest to 4001 Coastal Hwy. The Visitor Center is a very short walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate times and routes.
