If you are driving, start by heading west on Assateague Island Dr toward the entrance of Assateague Island National Seashore. Continue on Assateague Island Dr until you reach the park entrance. You will need to pay an entrance fee, which is $25 per vehicle for a 7-day pass. After entering the park, follow the signs toward the North End of Boardwalk. Continue on the main road until you see the signs for the North End. Parking is available near the boardwalk.

If you are using public transportation, take the Delmarva Bus Service to Ocean City. Once you arrive in Ocean City, you will need to transfer to the local Ocean City bus service. Take the bus that travels along Coastal Highway (Route 528) and get off at the stop nearest to the North End of Boardwalk. From there, it's a short walk to the boardwalk area. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary by season.
