If you are driving from the entrance of Patapsco Valley State Park, head northeast on US-1 N for about 8 miles. Merge onto I-95 N and continue for approximately 14 miles. Take exit 53 for I-295 N toward Washington. Continue on I-295 N for about 6 miles. Take exit 1B to merge onto Washington Ave SW. Continue on Washington Ave SW for about 1 mile, then turn left onto 16th St NW. Continue on 16th St NW for about 1 mile, and Meridian Hill Park will be on your left at the intersection with W St NW.

To reach Meridian Hill Park via public transportation, start by taking the MTA Light RailLink from Patapsco Valley State Park to the Baltimore Arena station. From there, transfer to the Metro SubwayLink towards the Charles Center station. At the Charles Center station, switch to the Washington Metro Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the Columbia Heights station. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk: head west on Irving St NW towards 14th St NW, then turn left on 14th St NW. Continue until you reach the intersection with W St NW, where Meridian Hill Park will be on your right.
