Car
If you're driving to the Chesapeake Beach Railway Museum from anywhere in the Chesapeake Bay Area, take Route 4 South (Pennsylvania Avenue) towards Prince Frederick. Continue on Route 4 until you reach the intersection with Route 261. Turn left onto Route 261 (Chesapeake Beach Road). Follow this road for about 10 miles, and you will arrive in Chesapeake Beach. Once you reach the center of town, turn onto Mears Avenue. The museum is located at 4155 Mears Ave. There is free parking available on-site.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) bus route 89 from the nearest metro station or bus stop that services this route. Check the MTA website for the latest schedules and routes. The bus will take you towards Chesapeake Beach. Once you arrive at the Chesapeake Beach stop, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles to reach the museum. Head south on Chesapeake Beach Road, then turn onto Mears Avenue, and you will see the museum at 4155 Mears Ave. Be aware that the bus fare is approximately $2.00.
