Getting There

  From any location within Sandy Point State Park, head towards the main exit. Follow the signs that lead you to the park entrance and exit. Once you are on the main road, take a right onto MD-2 South (Solomons Island Road). Continue on MD-2 South for about 4 miles. Then, turn left onto Thomas Point Road. Follow Thomas Point Road for about half a mile until you reach Thomas Point Park, which will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a small entry fee for the park, so be prepared to pay if required.
