To reach the Airbus IMAX Theater from anywhere in Silver Spring, start by walking to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8100 Georgia Ave. Once at the station, board the Red Line Metro train heading towards Glenmont. Travel for about 10 stops (approximately 20 minutes) until you reach the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Here, transfer to the Blue, Yellow, or Silver Line and take the train towards Wiehle-Reston East. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the Wiehle-Reston East station. From there, you can take a taxi or rideshare service for about 15 minutes to the theater's address at 14390 Air and Space Museum Pkwy, Chantilly, VA 20151.

For a bus option, walk to the nearest bus stop on Georgia Avenue and take the Ride On Bus Route 14 towards the Glenmont Metro Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the Glenmont Metro Station. From there, board the Metro Red Line towards Shady Grove and travel for 5 stops (about 10 minutes) until you reach the Rockville Metro Station. At Rockville, transfer to the Ride On Bus Route 55 towards Dulles Airport. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Air and Space Museum Pkwy stop.
