    Metro

    Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8401 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Board the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Travel for two stops and get off at the Rockville Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Metrobus RIBS 1 towards Tysons Corner Center. Get off at the stop 'Clyde's of Tysons' after approximately 15 minutes. You will then need to walk to the intersection of Route 7 and Route 123, where you can catch the Fairfax Connector Bus 401 towards Great Falls. After about 15 minutes on the bus, get off at the Great Falls Park stop. From there, follow the signs to Matildaville Trail.

    From Silver Spring, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Ride On Bus Routes. Take the Route 10 bus towards the Glenmont Metro Station. After reaching the Glenmont Metro Station, transfer to the Metrobus RIBS 1 towards Tysons Corner Center. Get off at the stop 'Clyde's of Tysons' and then walk to the intersection of Route 7 and Route 123. Catch the Fairfax Connector Bus 401 towards Great Falls. Once you arrive at the Great Falls Park stop, follow the signs to Matildaville Trail.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to ride a bicycle, start at the Silver Spring Civic Building located at 1 Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Head west on Ellsworth Drive, then turn left onto Fenton Street. Continue until you reach the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail north until it merges with the C&O Canal Towpath. Follow the path until you reach Great Falls Park. Once you arrive, look for signs leading to the Matildaville Trail.
