From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for 9 stops (approximately 20 minutes) until you reach Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. At Gallery Place, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Travel for 2 stops (approximately 5 minutes) until you reach the L'Enfant Plaza Station. Finally, transfer to the Blue Line towards Largo Town Center and travel for 1 stop (approximately 2 minutes) to the Navy Yard-Ballpark Station. Exit the station and walk approximately 0.5 miles southeast along N Street SE until you reach Nationals Park, located at 1500 South Capitol St SE.
Bus
From the Silver Spring Transit Center, take the Metrobus route S9 towards the Navy Yard. The bus stop is located directly outside the transit center. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes (check the live schedule for exact timings and stops). Disembark at the stop labeled 'Navy Yard-Ballpark'. Walk southeast along N Street SE for about 0.5 miles to reach Nationals Park located at 1500 South Capitol St SE.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Silver Spring, you can also walk to the nearest Metro station, Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, follow the directions given for the Metro option. Alternatively, if you're close to the bus routes, you can walk to the Silver Spring Transit Center and catch the Metrobus S9. Once you reach the Navy Yard-Ballpark station, walk southeast along N Street SE for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at Nationals Park.
