Metro
From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Ride for 8 stops until you reach Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the Yellow or Green Line and transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. After one stop, get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Station. From there, exit the station and walk towards 10th Street NW. Turn left onto 10th Street NW, and you will find Petersen House at 516 10th St NW on your right.

From Silver Spring, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Ride On Bus Route 16 towards Takoma Metro. Ride the bus for about 14 minutes until you reach the Takoma Metro Station. From there, take the Metro on the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station, then transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. After one stop, disembark at L'Enfant Plaza Station, and walk towards 10th Street NW. Turn left onto 10th Street NW, and Petersen House will be at 516 10th St NW.

If you prefer to walk from downtown Silver Spring, head south on Georgia Avenue towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. Once you reach the station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont.
