Ferry
From Barnstable, head to the Barnstable Harbor where you can catch the ferry to Nantucket. The ferry terminal is located at 30 Ocean Street, Barnstable, MA. Make sure to check the ferry schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at the Nantucket ferry terminal, you will be in the heart of Nantucket.

Bicycle
After you arrive at the Nantucket ferry terminal, you can rent a bicycle nearby. From the ferry terminal, head south toward Washington Street. Take a left onto Washington Street and continue onto Main Street. Follow Main Street until you reach the intersection with Wauwinet Road. Take a right onto Wauwinet Road and continue for about 3 miles until you reach the Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge Gatehouse at 107 Wauwinet Rd.

Once you arrive on Nantucket via the ferry, look for the Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) bus service. Board the 'Wauwinet' route bus, which will take you along Wauwinet Road. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop closest to 107 Wauwinet Rd. The Coskata-Coatue Wildlife Refuge Gatehouse will be a short walk from the bus stop.
