From Barnstable Village, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus Route 3 towards Hyannis. Stay on the bus for about 35 minutes. Get off at the Chatham Stop near Main St. Walk 5 minutes down Main St towards the beach. Lighthouse Beach will be on your right.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from Barnstable Village and head towards the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Follow the trail east until you reach Chatham. Once in Chatham, turn left onto Main St and continue for about 1 mile. Lighthouse Beach will be on your right, just past the Chatham Lighthouse.

It is a longer walk, approximately 5 miles, but you’ll enjoy beautiful views along the way. Once you reach Chatham, turn onto Main St and walk towards Lighthouse Beach.
