Bus
From Barnstable, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service. Take the Route 1 bus towards Hyannis and get off at the Hyannis Transportation Center. Transfer to the Route 2 bus heading towards Eastham. Stay on the bus until you reach the Nauset Light Beach stop. From there, it's a short walk to the beach entrance.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Barnstable. Start by heading north on Main Street, then follow it until you reach the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Turn onto the Rail Trail and continue riding towards Eastham. Once you get close to Eastham, look for signs for Nauset Light Beach; follow those signs to the beach entrance.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from Barnstable to Nauset Light Beach. Start at Barnstable Village. Follow Main Street north towards Route 6. Cross Route 6 and continue on the bike path until you reach Eastham. Once you enter Eastham, look for signs directing you to Nauset Light Beach. It's about a 4-mile walk, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
