Public Transit - Bus

Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop 'William J Day Blvd / Castle Island'. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the waterfront; Castle Island will be clearly visible.
Public Transit - Subway and Bus
From Park Street Station in Downtown Boston, take the Red Line subway towards Ashmont. Ride for 6 stops and get off at Ashmont Station. From Ashmont, transfer to the Mattapan Trolley towards Mattapan Station. Ride the trolley for 3 stops and get off at 'Milton and Neponset'. From there, catch the #10 bus heading towards 'South Boston'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'William J Day Blvd / Castle Island'. Walk towards the water to reach Castle Island.
