Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Boston Common, exit the park and head towards Tremont St. Walk north on Tremont St until you reach Park St Station. Take the Red Line subway towards Alewife and get off at the Haymarket Station. From Haymarket, walk northwest along Blackstone St towards the Charlestown Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Main St. In about 10 minutes, you will reach Monument Square where Bunker Hill Monument is located.

Public Transit (Bus)
From the Boston Public Library in Copley Square, walk to the Copley Station and take the Green Line subway towards Government Center. Change at Haymarket Station to the Orange Line towards North Station. Get off at the North Station and take the bus number 93 or 95 from the terminal to the Monument Square stop. The Bunker Hill Monument will be a short walk from the bus stop.

Walking from North End
If you are in the North End, exit onto Hanover St and head north. Continue onto Commercial St which will lead you to the Charlestown Bridge. After crossing the bridge, turn right onto Main St. Bunker Hill Monument will be straight ahead at Monument Square.

Walking from the Charlestown Navy Yard
If you are at the Charlestown Navy Yard, exit towards the main street and walk south on 1st Ave. Turn left onto Constitution Rd, then right onto Main St. Follow Main St for a few blocks until you reach Monument Square. The Bunker Hill Monument will be visible from the square.
