    Walking

    If you are starting from Downtown Crossing, exit the Downtown Crossing subway station and head southeast on Washington Street. Continue straight and take a left onto Beach Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with John F Fitzgerald Surface Road. The Chinatown Gate will be right at that intersection.

    Subway

    Take the Orange Line from any station and get off at Haymarket Station. Exit the station and walk south on Blackstone Street. Continue on to Hanover Street and take a right. Walk until you reach the intersection with Beach Street, then take a left. Walk straight until you arrive at the Chinatown Gate at the intersection with John F Fitzgerald Surface Road.

    Walking from South Station

    From South Station, exit onto Atlantic Avenue and head north. Take a right onto Summer Street, then a left onto Kneeland Street. Continue straight on Kneeland Street and it will turn into Beach Street. Follow Beach Street until you reach the intersection with John F Fitzgerald Surface Road, where you will find the Chinatown Gate.

    If you are near the Boston Common, you can take the #43 or #47 bus from the Park Street Station. Get off at the Beach Street stop. From there, walk a short distance towards the John F Fitzgerald Surface Road where the Chinatown Gate is located.
