Walking
If you are starting at Boston Common, exit the park at the Tremont Street entrance. Head east on Tremont Street until you reach the intersection with Park Street. Turn left onto Park Street and walk until you reach the entrance to the Public Garden on your right. Once inside the Public Garden, follow the path straight ahead until you spot the George Washington Statue, which is located near the center of the garden.
Subway
If you are near the Park Street subway station, take the Green Line 'C' or 'D' train toward Government Center. Get off at the Arlington station. Exit the station and head south on Arlington Street toward Boylston Street. Turn left onto Boylston Street, then turn right into the Public Garden. The George Washington Statue will be straight ahead in the garden.
Bus
Take the MBTA bus route 39 towards the Forest Hills station. Get off at the stop for the Boston Public Garden (located on Charles Street). From there, walk into the Public Garden, and you will find the George Washington Statue near the center of the garden.
