You can take the Alewife train from Downtown Crossing or Park Street Station. Once you arrive at Alewife Station, exit and head to the Alewife Bus Terminal. From there, catch the 62 or 76 bus towards Lexington. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Massachusetts Ave at Lexington Battle Green, and you will find the attraction right in front of you.
Commuter Rail (MBTA)
Another option is to take the Fitchburg Line of the Commuter Rail from Boston's North Station. Board the train towards Fitchburg and get off at the Lexington Station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Lexington Battle Green. Head south on Massachusetts Ave and follow the signs to the Battle Green, which will be straight ahead.
