Ferry
To reach Spectacle Island, start by making your way to the Long Wharf area in Boston. You can take the MBTA subway (the 'T') and ride the Blue Line to the Aquarium station. Once you exit the station, walk towards the waterfront. Look for the Long Wharf ferry terminal, which is well-signposted. From Long Wharf, you can board the Spectacle Island ferry, which operates seasonally. The ferry ride typically takes about 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the harbor.
Public Transport + Walking
If you're near downtown Boston, take the Green Line subway to Government Center. From there, transfer to the Blue Line and ride to the Aquarium station. After exiting, head towards the waterfront and follow the signs to Long Wharf. Alternatively, if you're closer to South Station, you can walk to Long Wharf, which is about a 15-minute walk. Just head northeast on Atlantic Avenue until you reach the waterfront, then turn left towards Long Wharf where you can catch the ferry to Spectacle Island.
