Walking
If you are in Downtown Boston, begin your journey at Government Center. From the Government Center T Station, exit onto Court Street and head toward City Hall. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Tremont Street. Cross Tremont Street and continue on Court Street, which becomes Marshall Street. The Boston Stone is located on Marshall Street, just a short walk from City Hall. Look for a small stone embedded in the wall.

Take the Green Line (C or D branch) from any station to Park Street Station. Transfer to the Red Line and head towards Alewife. Get off at the first stop, which is Downtown Crossing. Exit the station and walk towards Washington Street. Head northeast on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with Court Street. Turn left onto Court Street, which becomes Marshall Street. The Boston Stone will be on your right embedded in the wall.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you are near the Boston Common, you can take the #43 or #47 bus from the Boston Common Bus Terminal. Get off at the Government Center stop. From there, walk down Court Street toward City Hall. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tremont Street, then cross Tremont Street. Continue on Court Street to Marshall Street, where you will find The Boston Stone.

Start at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Exit the marketplace and head west on Congress Street. Turn left onto State Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and continue walking until you reach Court Street. Turn left onto Court Street, which will become Marshall Street. The Boston Stone will be located on your right side.
