Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from Boston Common, head southeast towards Tremont St. Continue along Tremont St until you reach the intersection with Boylston St. Turn right onto Boylston St and walk until you reach the intersection with Washington St. From there, head left onto Washington St and continue until you reach the Rose Kennedy Greenway. The Greenway Carousel is located at 191 Atlantic Ave, just a short walk from the park.

• Public Transit (Subway)

  From Park Street Station, take the Red Line towards Ashmont/Braintree and get off at Downtown Crossing. Exit the station and head towards Summer St. Walk along Summer St until you reach Atlantic Ave. Turn right onto Atlantic Ave and the Greenway Carousel will be on your left at 191 Atlantic Ave.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch the 9 or 43 bus from various locations in Boston. For example, from the Boston Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop at Copley Station. Catch the 9 bus towards Alewife and get off at the Atlantic Ave stop. From there, walk a short distance to the Greenway Carousel located at 191 Atlantic Ave.

• Bike

  If you're renting a bike, head towards the Boston Harborwalk. Follow the path along the harbor, and when you reach the Rose Kennedy Greenway, look for the signs directing you to the Greenway Carousel located at 191 Atlantic Ave. The ride is scenic and offers great views of the water.
