Walking
If you are already in Charlestown, the USS Constitution Museum is located in the Charlestown Navy Yard at Building 22. Start by heading towards the waterfront. From the center of Charlestown, walk towards Chelsea Street and head east until you reach the waterfront park area. Follow the path along the harbor, which will lead you directly to the entrance of the Navy Yard. Once you enter the Navy Yard, look for signs directing you to the USS Constitution Museum, which is a short walk from the entrance.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you are farther away in Charlestown, you can take the MBTA bus route 93. Find a bus stop along Main Street or Bunker Hill Street. Board the bus heading towards Haymarket. The bus fare is $1.70 (exact change required). Get off at the stop for the Charlestown Navy Yard. From the bus stop, walk towards the entrance of the Navy Yard, and follow the signs to the USS Constitution Museum.
Ferry
Another scenic option is to take the MBTA ferry from downtown Boston to the Charlestown Navy Yard. You can catch the ferry at the Long Wharf or the Rowes Wharf. The ferry fare is $4.00 one-way. Once you arrive at the Charlestown Navy Yard ferry terminal, you will be just a short walk away from the USS Constitution Museum. Follow the signs that lead you towards the museum.
