Once there, follow the signs leading to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the heart of Charlestown.

Catch the MBTA bus #93 or #111 from the Charlestown area. You can board the bus at the nearest stop along Bunker Hill Street or Main Street. Ensure that you have a CharlieCard or cash ready for the fare, which is approximately $1.70. The bus will take you directly to the Navy Yard stop. From there, it's just a short walk to Building 5, where the Boston National Historical Park is located.

For a scenic route, consider taking the water shuttle from the Charlestown Navy Yard to the downtown area. Board the shuttle from the Charlestown Marina. The fare is around $3.00 one way. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Boston skyline as you cross the harbor. After a short ride, you can walk back to the Navy Yard, which is just a few minutes from the shuttle dock.
