Getting There

• Public Bus

  From New Bedford, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the GATRA Bus Route 10 towards Fall River. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the South Main Street & Market Street stop in Fall River. From there, transfer to the RIPTA Route 60 bus towards Providence. Stay on this bus for about 40 minutes. Get off at the Benefit Street & George Street stop. Walk east on Benefit Street for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Old State House located at 150 Benefit St, Providence, RI 02903.

• Train

  Walk to the New Bedford train station located at 1050 Purchase Street. Board the MBTA commuter rail service towards Boston. Disembark at the Providence station after approximately 30 minutes. From the Providence station, exit and walk north on the Amtrak/MBTA concourse. Take a left onto Exchange Street, and then take a right onto Washington Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Benefit Street. Turn left and walk about 3 minutes to reach the Old State House at 150 Benefit St, Providence, RI 02903.
