Bus
To get to AS220's Empire Street Complex at 115 Empire St, Providence, RI, you can take the MBTA bus service. Start by locating the nearest bus stop in Brockton. Look for the bus routes that head towards Providence. The most common routes are the 14 or 15, which will take you to the Brockton Intermodal Transportation Center. Once you arrive at the Intermodal Center, transfer to the Peter Pan Bus Lines or Greyhound service heading to Providence. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at the Providence bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards the intersection of Washington Street and Empire Street. AS220 is located just a few blocks away at 115 Empire St.
Train
You can also take the train to reach AS220's Empire Street Complex. Head to the Brockton MBTA station and purchase a ticket to Providence. The MBTA's commuter rail service runs regularly, and the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Providence train station, exit the station and head south on Gaspee St towards the intersection with Empire St. Turn left onto Empire St, and AS220 will be on your right at 115 Empire St.
Walking
If you are staying in downtown Brockton and prefer to walk, head towards the Brockton Intermodal Transportation Center. From there, follow the directions to the nearest bus stop or train station to catch a ride to Providence. However, if you wish to walk directly to AS220, you would need to estimate the distance as it is quite far (approximately 15 miles). It is not recommended to walk due to the distance and lack of sidewalks along some routes.
