Bus
From Brockton, head to the nearest bus station, which is the Brockton MBTA station located at 1 Montello St. Take the MBTA bus route 14 towards Ashmont Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ashmont Station, transfer to the Red Line train towards Alewife. Ride the train for about 40 minutes until you reach Park Street Station. At Park Street, transfer to the Green Line train towards Government Center and ride for 1 stop to Boylston Station. Exit the station and walk 5 minutes east on Boylston St, then turn left onto Warrenton St. Charles Playhouse will be on your right at 74 Warrenton St.
Train
From Brockton, make your way to Brockton MBTA station at 1 Montello St. Board the train on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line towards South Station. The train ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at South Station, exit the station and head towards the Red Line subway entrance. Take the Red Line towards Alewife and get off at Park Street Station, which is 1 stop away. From Park Street, switch to the Green Line towards Government Center and ride for just 1 stop to Boylston Station. After exiting, walk east along Boylston St for 5 minutes, then turn left onto Warrenton St. Charles Playhouse is located at 74 Warrenton St.
Walking
If you are already in downtown Brockton, you can walk to the Brockton MBTA station at 1 Montello St. From there, follow the bus or train instructions provided above, as walking directly from Brockton to Boston is not practical due to the distance.
