Car
If you're driving, use GPS to navigate to 26 Herring Pond Rd, Bourne, MA 02532. From the Mid-Cape Highway (Route 6), take Exit 2 for Sandwich Road toward Bourne. Merge onto Sandwich Road and continue straight for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Herring Pond Road. Butterflies of Cape Cod will be on your right side. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Butterflies of Cape Cod via public transportation, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority bus to Bourne. Look for the bus service that operates on Route 2 or 3, depending on your starting location. Get off at the nearest stop to Sandwich Road, and from there, it’s about a 1-mile walk to Herring Pond Road. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may be limited on weekends and holidays. There may be a small fare for the bus, approximately $2-$3 per ride.
Bicycle
If you enjoy cycling, consider biking from nearby areas. There are bike paths that connect various towns on Cape Cod. From Bourne, head toward Sandwich Road and then turn onto Herring Pond Road. The ride is about 2 miles from the Bourne town center. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws. Bring your own bike lock to secure your bike while you visit.
