From Worcester, MA, take I-290 E toward Boston. Merge onto I-90 E (Massachusetts Turnpike). Continue on I-90 E for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 15 for I-95 S toward Providence. Merge onto I-95 S and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 27B to merge onto I-93 N toward Boston. After about 5 miles, take exit 18 for Columbia Rd toward Mattapan. Continue onto Columbia Rd, then turn left onto Walk Hill St. The Boston Nature Center will be on your right at 500 Walk Hill St, Mattapan, MA 02126. Parking is available on-site.

From Worcester, take the MBTA commuter rail (Framingham/Worcester Line) to South Station in Boston. At South Station, transfer to the Red Line subway (Alewife direction) and get off at Ashmont Station. At Ashmont, transfer to the Mattapan Trolley (the Mattapan High-Speed Line) and ride to the last stop, Mattapan Station. From Mattapan Station, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Boston Nature Center. Head southeast on River St, turn left onto Walk Hill St, and continue until you reach the center at 500 Walk Hill St, Mattapan, MA 02126. Note that public transportation fares apply.
