Walking
From the Gloucester city center, head south on Main Street toward Washington Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and follow it as it curves to the left. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Route 128. At this point, you can catch the MBTA bus #67 towards Manchester. Get off at the stop 'Gloucester MBTA Station'. From the station, transfer to the MBTA train towards Boston. Once you reach North Station in Boston, follow signs to the Haymarket area. From there, take the Orange Line subway towards Oak Grove and get off at the Haymarket stop. Exit onto Blackstone Street and walk towards the Freedom Trail; City Square Park will be directly ahead.
Public Transit
Start at the Gloucester MBTA Station located on Main Street. Take the commuter rail towards North Station in Boston. Once at North Station, transfer to the Green Line subway towards Government Center. Get off at the Government Center stop and switch to the Blue Line towards Bowdoin. At the Bowdoin stop, exit and walk towards City Square Park, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs to the Freedom Trail; the park is located at the intersection of Freedom Trail and City Square.
