Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in downtown Lawrence, start at Massachusetts Street, which is the main street filled with shops and restaurants. Head east on 9th Street until you reach the intersection with New Hampshire Street. Turn right and continue south until you reach 6th Street. Here you will find a bus stop for the Lawrence Transit System. Take the bus that heads towards East Lawrence. Get off at the stop near the intersection of 6th and Maine Street. From there, walk east on Maine Street until it turns into 5th Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Pleasant Street. Turn left on Pleasant Street. Warren Tavern will be on your right at 2 Pleasant St.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Lawrence. Start at the Lawrence Public Library on 7th and Vermont Streets. Head north on Vermont Street until you reach 11th Street. Turn right and go east until you reach Massachusetts Street. Turn left and follow Massachusetts until you reach 6th Street. At 6th Street, turn right and look for the Lawrence Transit bike lane. Follow this lane east until you reach Pleasant Street. Turn right on Pleasant Street, and Warren Tavern will be on your right at 2 Pleasant St.

  For public transit, locate the nearest bus stop in downtown Lawrence, usually around 9th and Massachusetts Street. Take the bus route that heads towards East Lawrence and get off at the stop near 6th and Maine Street. From there, walk east on Maine Street until it becomes 5th Street. Continue straight until you reach Pleasant Street. Turn left on Pleasant Street, and you will find Warren Tavern at 2 Pleasant St on your right.
