To get to Gallops Island from Gloucester, you will first need to make your way to Boston. Head to the Gloucester MBTA train station and take the commuter rail to North Station in Boston. Once you arrive at North Station, exit the station and head towards the Government Center. From there, walk to the Blue Line's Government Center subway station and take the train towards Bowdoin. After just one stop, get off at the Aquarium station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to Long Wharf, where you will find the ferry terminal. Look for the ferry service that goes to Gallops Island. Board the ferry, and enjoy the scenic ride to the island.

If you prefer to take public transit, you can catch the MBTA bus #441 from Gloucester to the Alewife Station on the Red Line. Once at Alewife, board the train towards Ashmont and get off at Park Street Station. Transfer to the Green Line and head towards Government Center. From Government Center, follow signs to the Aquarium subway station. Once there, make your way to Long Wharf to catch the ferry to Gallops Island.
