To reach Lovells Island, begin your journey at Long Wharf, located near the Boston waterfront. From there, go to the Boston Harbor Islands Ferry terminal. You can take the MBTA subway to Government Center Station on the Green Line, then transfer to the Blue Line and get off at Bowdoin Station. From Bowdoin Station, walk about 10 minutes to reach Long Wharf. At the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Lovells Island. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you'll be able to enjoy stunning views of the Boston skyline along the way.

If you're coming from the Downtown area, take the MBTA 'T' subway Green Line to Park Street Station. From Park Street, transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont and get off at South Station.
