Start at the Gloucester Fishermen's Memorial located at 75 East Main Street. From there, head northeast on East Main Street towards the intersection with Washington Street. Continue on East Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Rogers Street. Turn left onto Rogers Street and walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the end of the road. Here, you'll find the entrance to the scenic path leading towards the Hermit of Gloucester cabin site. Follow the path that goes into the woods, and after about a 15-minute walk, you will arrive at the cabin site.

If you have access to a bike, start at the Cape Ann Museum located at 27 Pleasant Street. From there, head southeast on Pleasant Street, then turn left onto East Main Street. Continue straight for about 1 mile, then turn right onto Rogers Street. Follow Rogers Street until the end where you will find a bike path that leads into the woods. Cycle along this path for about 10-15 minutes, and you will reach the Hermit of Gloucester cabin site.

Take the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) bus route 65 from the Gloucester Public Library. Get off at the stop near East Main Street and Rogers Street.
