Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center located at 246 Market Street. Head south on Market Street towards Merrimack Street. Turn left on Merrimack Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Central Street. Continue straight to cross the bridge over the Merrimack River. Once you cross, follow Central Street until it turns into Dutton Street. Keep going straight until you reach the intersection with Broadway Street. Turn right onto Broadway Street, and then left onto Washington Street. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles, and you will find the Old South Meeting House at 310 Washington St, Boston, MA 02108.

• Public Transit - Bus

  From the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center at 246 Market Street, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Market and Merrimack Streets. Catch the MBTA bus #350 towards Alewife. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Ashmont. Ride the subway for 15 stops until you reach Park Street Station. Exit the station and walk 0.5 miles east along Tremont Street, then turn right onto Washington Street. The Old South Meeting House will be on your left at 310 Washington St, Boston, MA 02108.

• Public Transit - Train

  From the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center at 246 Market Street, walk to the Lowell train station at 12 Thorndike Street. Board an MBTA commuter rail train (Fitchburg Line) towards Boston. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Disembark at North Station in Boston. From North Station, exit and walk to the Haymarket subway station. Take the Green Line subway towards Copley. After two stops, transfer to the Orange Line towards Forest Hills and get off at Haymarket Station. Walk east on Congress Street, then turn left onto Washington Street. The Old South Meeting House will be on your right at 310 Washington St, Boston, MA 02108.
