Walking
Starting from downtown Gloucester, head north on Main Street toward Washington Street. Continue straight onto Washington Street, passing several shops and restaurants. After about 0.5 miles, you'll reach the intersection with Eastern Avenue (Route 127). Turn left onto Eastern Avenue and follow it for approximately 1 mile. Look for a sign for Hesperus Avenue on your right. Turn right onto Hesperus Avenue, and walk approximately 0.3 miles. Rafes Chasm Park will be on your left at 140 Hesperus Ave.
Public Transportation
From downtown Gloucester, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA). Take the Route 11 bus toward Rockport. Request to get off at the stop nearest to Hesperus Avenue, which is about 0.5 miles from the park entrance. Once you disembark, walk along Hesperus Avenue heading towards the coast. Rafes Chasm Park will be on your right at 140 Hesperus Ave.
