Take the MBTA commuter rail on the Rockport Line towards North Station in Boston. Disembark at the Ipswich station, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. From the Ipswich station, exit and head south on Central St towards S Main St. Turn right onto S Main St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Argilla Rd. Turn left onto Argilla Rd and continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you arrive at Russell Orchards at 147 Argilla Rd.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Gloucester. Start from downtown Gloucester and head towards the scenic route on Route 127, which takes you along the coast. Continue on Route 127 until you reach the intersection with Route 1A. Follow Route 1A towards Ipswich and then take a left onto Argilla Rd. Russell Orchards will be about a mile ahead on your right at 147 Argilla Rd. This route is about 10 miles and offers beautiful coastal views.
Walking
For those looking for a long walk, start in downtown Gloucester and head towards the Gloucester Harbor area. Follow Western Ave north and then take a left onto Washington St. Continue until you reach the intersection with Route 127. Walk along Route 127 towards Ipswich. This route is approximately 8 miles and will take you along scenic areas, but be mindful of traffic. Once you reach the intersection of Route 1A, turn left and head towards Argilla Rd. Follow Argilla Rd for about a mile to reach Russell Orchards at 147 Argilla Rd.
