Bus
From Gloucester, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) service. Board the bus heading towards Rockport and get off at the 'Gloucester Station' stop. Transfer to the bus to Portsmouth (check CATA schedules for connections). Once in Portsmouth, disembark at the nearest stop to the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion. From there, walk along Little Harbor Road until you reach the mansion at 375 Little Harbor Rd.
Ferry
Take a ferry from Gloucester to Salem. Once in Salem, walk to the nearest bus terminal and board a bus that goes to Portsmouth. After arriving in Portsmouth, exit the bus and follow the directions to Little Harbor Road. The Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion is located at 375 Little Harbor Rd, just a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Gloucester. Head south on Route 127 towards Magnolia and continue on the scenic route along the coast. Once you reach the intersection with U.S. Route 1, continue until you reach Portsmouth. Follow the signs to Little Harbor Road, and you will find the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion at 375 Little Harbor Rd.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, begin at the center of Gloucester and head towards the waterfront. Follow the trail signs leading to the harbor and keep walking until you reach the nearest bus stop. From there, take the bus towards Portsmouth. Once in Portsmouth, you can either walk or use local rideshare services to reach 375 Little Harbor Rd, the location of the Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion.
