Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Brockton, start at the Brockton MBTA station. Exit the station and head northwest on Main Street toward the intersection with Crescent Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the Brockton Fairgrounds. From there, follow the signs to the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) bus stop and take the BAT Route 4 bus to the Ashland stop near the intersection of Ashland Avenue and Quincy Street. Once you disembark, walk east on Quincy Street for about 0.2 miles until you reach the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at 24 Quincy St, Cambridge, MA.

• Public Transport

  From the Brockton MBTA station, take the MBTA Commuter Rail (the Kingston/Plymouth Line) towards South Station. Get off at the South Station stop. From South Station, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Alewife and get off at the Alewife station. Once you arrive at Alewife, exit the station and take a bus (Route 67) towards the Alewife Bus Terminal. Get off at the Quincy Street stop in Cambridge. From there, it's a short walk to 24 Quincy St, the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service in Brockton. Start at the Brockton MBTA station and head north on Main Street. Follow the bike lanes and paths as you navigate toward the direction of the BAT bus stop. Continue to follow the signs toward the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) bus stop and take Route 4 to the Ashland stop. After disembarking, bike east on Quincy Street and reach your destination at 24 Quincy St, Cambridge, MA.
