Car
If you're driving, start on I-93 N from downtown Boston. Follow signs for I-90 E and merge onto I-90 E (Massachusetts Turnpike). After about 2 miles, take exit 25 for South Station, and follow signs for I-90 E toward Logan Airport. Keep left to stay on I-90 E, which will lead you to the airport area. Continue on the access road to Logan Airport, but do not enter the airport. Instead, keep right to exit toward East Boston. Merge onto Route 1A N (George P. Coleman Highway), then take the exit toward Sumner Tunnel. After exiting the tunnel, take a right onto Sumner Street, and LoPresti Park will be on your right at 33 Sumner St, East Boston.
Public Transportation
To reach LoPresti Park via public transportation, you can take the MBTA subway. Start at any subway station and board the Blue Line towards Wonderland. Get off at the Maverick station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the East Boston Greenway. Walk along the Greenway towards Sumner Street. Once you reach Sumner Street, turn left, and you'll find LoPresti Park at 33 Sumner St. The subway fare is $2.40 per ride unless you have a CharlieCard, which can reduce costs.
Taxi/Rideshare
If you prefer a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, simply enter 'LoPresti Park, 33 Sumner St, Boston, MA 02128' as your destination. The cost will vary depending on your starting location, but expect to pay between $15 to $25 for a ride from downtown Boston to LoPresti Park.
